"I voted in favour of this report, which advocates improving our auditing processes by implementing quality controls rather than quantitative ones in order to reduce unnecessary administrative burden and to ensure that funding is used in the best possible way. I support measures to simplify the CAP and provide clearer guidance to both national authorities and farmers to reduce error rates. Helping to improve the efficiency of the CAP is a key method of bettering the European Union at all levels as we move our institutions forward."@en1
