lpv:spoken text	"I voted for this report because I believe the proposal made by the Commission should go much further and completely ban the use of cloning in animal production for farm purposes. I believe it should take the form of a regulation. Such a prohibition is necessary and in line with the expectations of the public and their concerns about animal welfare conditions and threats to biodiversity. We are demanding that all animals imported into the EU are proven not to be clones or descendants of cloned animals. We need to be confident that no food or germinal products derived from clones are imported into the EU."@en1
