"The creation of ‘green jobs’ has the potential to boost future job creation and we must ensure that Europe can maximise this opportunity. This important report aims at increasing the employment potential of jobs in the green sector. With 23 million people unemployed in Europe, it is vital that we seize this opportunity to invest in decent work. We need a fair transition roadmap on green jobs which combines environmental goals with green skills development strategies and targeted investments. This will in turn support green SMEs and lead to much needed job creation."@en1
