"I alongside my colleagues in the European Parliamentary Labour Party voted in favour of action to deal with abusive zero-hour contracts, which offer no job security and stop workers from being able to plan for their future, get credit or apply for a mortgage.
Over 5 million people in the UK today are in low-paid jobs, many of these people are on zero-hour contracts. This report recognises and goes some way in tackling this problem. The EU gets it. But does Cameron’s Tory government?"@en1
