"While I supported this report I abstained on a number of votes regarding country-by-country report for transnational companies. First of all, country-by-country reporting does not fit into the scope of this directive where the focus is on shareholders. Secondly, negotiations are still ongoing in relation to this issue and I do not think Parliament should take a preliminary position on this without due regard to the final negotiations."@en1
