lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I would like to thank Mr Fernandes for his work on this mandate, and I also welcome Commissioner Georgieva’s focus on the revival of the economy, but it cannot just be about supporting the shape of the economy today, it has to be about shaping the economy of the future as well. That is why the Horizon 2020 budget is so important, and the 2016 budget trilogue should be used as a means to reinforce this area. The research and innovation that is supported through Horizon 2020 is the means by which we can secure good-quality jobs into the future – a future that involves huge technological change. It is through this area that we can make sure that those generations that come after us, as well as those that are in work today, have got the jobs that are so necessary for them."@en1
