"The single market remains one of the greatest achievements of the EU albeit much work has still to be done, as this report highlights. Unfortunately, Scotlandʼs continued membership of the single market is threatened by our remaining within the United Kingdom. The Westminster parties are increasingly following an insular and xenophobic agenda and an in/out referendum on the EU is looking increasingly likely. If and when such a referendum takes place, it is vital that each of the constituent nations of the UK can veto an EU exit if that is what their electors wish."@en1
