Unfortunately, Scotlandʼs continued membership of the single market is threatened by our remaining within the United Kingdom. The Westminster parties are increasingly following an insular and xenophobic agenda and an in/out referendum on the EU is looking increasingly likely. If and when such a referendum takes place, it is vital that each of the constituent nations of the UK can veto an EU exit if that is what their electors wish."@en1
