"I voted against this report as it contained nothing new or of substance. It was simply repackaging earlier reports and advocating what is a failed economic paradigm. Moreover, the singular focus on the single market fails to address serious democratic deficit concerns, further eroding sovereignty and reducing economic independence for both Ireland and other Member States.
