"I voted for this report which welcomes the fact that the new policy mix adds investment to the previous priorities of fiscal consolidation and structural reforms. It considers, nevertheless, that the Annual Growth Survey (AGS) should pay greater concern to aggregate demand and its connection to wage increases and social inequalities. It underlines that the top priority when it comes to reducing macro-imbalances should not be to increase current account surpluses, but rather to raise the growth, investment and employment rates, and to reduce the poverty rate."@en1
