lpv:spoken text	"I congratulate Serbia on the progress achieved on its path to the EU. However, a lot of work lies ahead on issues such as media freedom, deteriorating conditions for freedom of expression, and lack of transparency in the funding of political parties and election campaigns. Serbia should also make further efforts to guarantee gender equality and protect the rights of minority groups. I continue to strongly support the aspirations of the Western Balkan countries to engage in European reforms and to become EU members themselves. The process of integration will strengthen the democratic institutions of these countries, modernise their economies and thus improve the lives of citizens. Labour Party Members and the S&D Group will be sure to keep enlargement high on the EU’s political agenda."@en1
