lpv:spoken text	"The purpose of the Commission proposal for a regulation is technical simplification. The regulation concerns the import of products (with the notable exception of textiles) into the EU from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, North Korea, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. This proposal was necessary to ensure legal clarity, on account of the previous regulation being subject to amendments. The countries concerned are those that do not belong to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and are therefore not subject to any preferential treatment, and are not covered by WTO rules, hence the need for a common set of rules governing imports from them in this regulation."@en1
