"Madam President, once again this Chamber has voted for a motion that will lead to increased neo-colonialism of the European Union and its supporters of imperialism in this Chamber. The consequences of this at Christmas would be laughable if it were not serious. In my constituency of the North-West there is a town called Stockport. Thousands of people this Christmas will be struggling to eat and heat their homes; they will be seeking food from food banks. This House today has voted to take money from the European Union and give it to dictators and bureaucrats in Georgia through agreements. You are taking money and food from the mouths of my constituents to give it to the greedy in Georgia. I opposed this motion along with UKIP, my party, because we do not believe in EU imperialism; we do not believe that you can take money from the poor to give to the rich; we do not believe that the people of Stockport should have a poor Christmas just because the Georgian rich want a rich Christmas."@en1
