Well, if his view of economics is reflected in what Mr Juncker said this morning, with his giant watering can of EU funding that he was going to randomly splash around the place to an economy that is already in debt – up to 90% of GDP, by his figures, and 50% of that GDP made up of the state sector – only weeds of financial mismanagement, debt and despair will grow in Mr Juncker’s garden.
