lpv:spoken text	"I abstained on this report because I do not believe it went far enough in relation to transparency. There is a wide consensus that a lack of credibility of regulation contributed to the crisis, since implementation appeared to be severely deficient. Traditionally in financial matters a lot of faith is placed in ʽmarket disciplineʼ, but to have the system of market monitoring functioning well, transparency is very important as well. This means that not only the necessary information must be available but also that this information is effectively reaching the market, and, moreover, is adequately interpreted by the market participants and also used in their decisions."@en1
