The European Parliament calls on Turkey to withdraw its ships from European territory and respect the sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus. I support the reunification talks between Greek and Turkish Cypriots and trust that the continuation of the talks, with a negotiated, diplomatic approach, is the answer to the Cyprus problem. The S&D Group believe that the exploitation of hydrocarbons will benefit both sides in Cyprus and the entire region."@en1
