"It is a sad fact that hundreds of men and women have been radicalised enough to leave the UK and fight for ISIS. Many a family has been left heartbroken and devastated in my country and in Europe. Our interfering has destabilised the whole region and dramatically changed lives. Since the Iraq war our reputation lies in tatters. Previous to the invasion, Iraq did not have al-Qaeda or ISIS. Libya lies completely broken. There are already enough combatants and our involvement will encourage further radicalisation and fundamentalism, not least because air strikes will lead to innocent civilian deaths. We must not be seen as those leading a new crusade in Muslim lands. To prevent this from happening I am holding a conference in London on 5 December on the radicalisation of the youth. The chief guest will be the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Shawki Ibrahim Allam, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. We must find a solution and we must act now."@en1
