"Each year, the Commission provides each Member State with neutral advice regarding how to improve the state of their economies. This advice is often ignored. I supported today’s report because it encourages both investment from the Member States and the implementation of President Juncker’s promised EUR 300 billion investment programme. I and fellow Labour MEPs agreed to the report after it was agreed that this important funding would be given with no strings attached. The report gets jobs-based growth back on the agenda and will allow the reform that we need in order for Europeans to see real economic recovery in their everyday lives."@en1
