"I welcome that today the European Parliament approved EU aid to help support the reintegration into the labour market of workers made redundant in Peugeot Citroën Automobiles. The EUR 12 704 605 of EGF aid concerns 2 357 out of 6 120 workers made redundant in Peugeot Citroën Automobiles, with the redundancies mainly occurring in the Rennes and Aulnay plants. The UK has never made an application under this fund. UK workers therefore receive none of this support."@en1
