lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the resolution calling for an EU emergency plan to fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. The Ebola outbreak has so far caused almost 2 000 deaths, reached five African countries, and its spread is fast accelerating, also having consequences for food insecurity. It poses a global security challenge. The international community must therefore mobilise immediately to contain the epidemic. The EU financial assistance is very welcome; however further, coordinated action is needed. We must also look into long-term solutions to strengthen health systems and avoid new epidemics."@en1
