"The EPLP did not support Amendment 8 to paragraph 45, because it is tautologous and misleading. In seeking to stress that labour mobility ‘must be qualified’, the amendment disingenuously implies that labour mobility in the EU is currently not qualified. This is false. Citizens are free to move within the Union to work, but do not have an unqualified right to move and live anywhere within the Union. That is a myth, disingenuously promoted by this amendment."@en1
