"Mr President, I am fascinated by this. We have again been talking constantly about how we are going to make things better and there is constant talk of investment. We have got all these programmes – all these programmes! – but not enough money.
Well, that is the point. There is not enough money. You are all here talking about digging holes to get deeper. You are talking about trying to eat yourselves thin. The whole point is that the whole of the Western world is in debt, massively bankrupted. Hear some constructive commentary from my friend who mentioned it earlier: save this money, cut back on all these needless programmes, and stop trying to interfere in every part of everyone’s lives. How about saving that money and distributing it back to the countries you have taken it from? They could then give a really nice tax cut so that people could decide what to do with their own money. It is not yours to constantly make up ideas on how to spend it."@en1
