lpv:spoken text	"This establishes the categories of own resources, their calculation method, the own resources ceilings and correction mechanisms (including a couple of articles specifically on the UK rebate). The draft report of the Parliament recommends some amendments to the recitals concerning the prevailing view on the own resources system – namely that it is illegal, non-transparent, unfair and not subject to parliamentary control, highly complex and incomprehensible to EU citizens. While I do not support some of the amendments voted in the Committee on Budgetary Affairs, the legislative resolution itself is acceptable as it implements the deal reached in February 2013 by the Heads of State and Government on the MFF – namely, no new own resources and the maintenance of correction mechanisms. Therefore, I voted in favour of the report."@en1
