lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which forms the Parliament’s response to the annual PIF report from the Commission. The protection of the EU’s financial interest is especially important during this difficult economic time and this report highlights some of the key issues facing the EU’s expenditure and revenue. The way in which VAT fraud and EU spending in some areas are dealt with and reported vary in each Member State and I fully support the rapporteur in calling for a more uniform approach to this to ensure that the problem of fraud is properly addressed. I am pleased that the report highlights the improvements made, e.g. in raising awareness of fraud and the various initiatives taken by the Commission to improve anti-fraud work."@en1
