The European Parliament’s discharge procedure closes the accounts of the individual institutions but the Council continues to hold different legal views of the discharge procedure. The Parliament will explore all legal and political possibilities to resolve this inter-institutional issue, but until that is achieved, the Parliament will refuse to grant discharge to the Council."@en1
