lpv:spoken text	"Traffic noise is a widespread environmental problem in the EU and I support this report, which sets out targets to reduce the noise level for vehicles by 2021. The extensive negotiations on this report have resulted in less ambitious targets than initially hoped for and I am disappointed that the opportunity has been missed to improve the well-being of EU citizens through this report. However, this report still contains some positive elements, such as the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems, and is an improvement on the current Motor Vehicle Noise Directive, which is why I voted in favour."@en1
