lpv:spoken text	"I wholeheartedly support this report, which will greatly improve the situation regarding mobile phone chargers for consumers. Labour MEPs backed the creation of a Europe-wide common phone charger, which will make life easier for consumers and cut electrical waste. Around six thousand tonnes of mobile phone chargers are thrown away every year in the EU. I am pleased that these chargers will come into use over the next few years and by 2017 manufacturers will all have to follow the same standard. I am however, disappointed that Tory MEPs voted against the proposal, which will save consumers money and will help save the environment."@en1
