"I welcome the outcome of the negotiations on the new Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) for the 2014-2020 period. We have managed to secure a 50[nbsp ]% increase in the total budget to over EUR[nbsp ]3.1 billion, compared to EUR[nbsp ]2.1 billion available under the previous three programmes which are now being brought together. The AMIF must be used to provide better conditions for migrants, to improve asylum systems and to promote the integration of migrants. We now need to ensure that all Member States utilise this new Fund correctly and ambitiously."@en1
