lpv:spoken text	"I have voted in favour of this report which opposes mass surveillance by the NSA. Mass surveillance not only endangers the EU-US trade deal, but also hinders EU citizens' privacy. The aim of this report is to strengthen EU citizens' privacy in many ways, by for example, suspending the Safe Harbour privacy principles and The Terrorist Finance Tracking Programme (TFTP) both of which permit US authorities to obtain personal data such as bank details of EU citizens. This report also calls for a European whistle-blower protection programme which asks EU countries to consider granting whistle-blowers international protection from prosecution as well as introducing an EU cloud which leads Europe to develop its own clouds and IT solutions such as cyber security and encryption which in return all ensure a high level of data protection."@en1
