Travellers will have improved compensation entitlements, including compensation for holidays which were ruined by construction noise at the hotel. There will be increased flexibility when it comes to cancelling trips and new safeguards to protect consumers if the travel agency goes bankrupt before or during the holiday. Those who book online will also be covered and the new rules cover the online booking of flights, hotels and car hire through links on airlineʼs websites."@en1
