At the moment, there are many differences with e-invoicing in different member states and in order for it to work cross-border, there need to be some links between different systems across Europe. I am pleased that new rules will simplify the processing of e-invoices for governments and businesses, especially SMEs and welcome indications that this scheme could save around €2.3 billion across the EU."@en1
