"I strongly support measures to tackle poverty and social exclusion; however I do not believe that this Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived will be an effective way of achieving this. Money for food banks and other such worthy projects should be made available to Member States to be utilised locally in the way that they deem most effective; therefore I could not support this report today."@en1
