"I voted in favour of this report. Nevertheless, it is wholly unacceptable that across the EU so many of our citizens are in need of vital aid to survive. My own country has seen a 170% rise in the use of food banks in the last year on account of the UK government's continued attacks on welfare. It is disgusting that these facts exist in an oil-rich country in the 21st century."@en1
