"I voted in favour of this report because e-health has the potential to improve conditions for patients and healthcare systems. However, it is important that it is a patient-centred e-health approach and that data protection is ensured. It is very important in isolated areas and for older people and can deliver cost savings, an improved health service and improved accessibility to telemedicine."@en1
