Today we have a Pakistan that is making strides in terms of democracy – we had an EU mission about which Mr Gahler is about to speak – which recognised fair and free elections in Pakistan. Yet, people in this House are opposing giving Pakistan GSP+ in this new circumstance when it is striving to improve its human rights and its democratic structures."@en1
