It is vital that we strengthen current mechanisms and practices in order to ensure better, more effective coordination of development aid between Member States, to ensure that aid reaches those who need it. I welcome the fact that the report calls for a new binding coordination; this is because the current non-binding voluntary approach has led to limited results. My constituents in Wales contact me very often concerned about what aid is being provided to countries in need."@en1
