lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report. The economic crisis has revealed serious shortcomings in the European statistical system. It is my view that there has always been too little attention given to social and environmental indicators. Statistics are essential. For example, West Wales and the Valleys is one of the poorest regions in the EU, and it is EU data and statistics that have highlighted how serious the problem is and the need for urgent action by the Welsh Government."@en1
