lpv:spoken text	"The Volunteering and voluntary activity in Europe own initiative report summarises the implementation of the 2011 European year of volunteering. I was pleased to see the positive changes in the volunteering environment at both European and National level, which in some cases has led to the adoption or modification of volunteering strategies and legislation in member states. I welcome the call for the adoption of a European statue for voluntary organisations and am pleased to see that the difficulties faced by NGOs during times of austerity are being acknowledged at a European level. I hope that my vote in favour of this report will be a step towards a more socially inclusive Europe."@en1
