lpv:spoken text	"It is of the upmost importance that workers within the EU are protected, particularly when working with chemicals. To protect these potentially vulnerable workers, I voted for Convention No 170, which aims to secure both the prevention and the reduction of chemically reduced illnesses and injuries at work. I am pleased to see the establishment of the evaluation of chemicals, increased access to information from chemical suppliers for workers and of protective programmes for workers. I hope that this Convention marks a step towards greater protection for workers in the EU."@en1
