lpv:spoken text	"It is clear that the EU-Morocco Fisheries Partnership Agreement has wider implications for human rights in Morocco. It is of the upmost importance that the EU does not re-institute a fisheries agreement with Morocco while these human rights concerns remain unaddressed. The Commission has failed to demonstrate adequately that the Fisheries Agreement has the consent of the Moroccan public, and that the Agreement with benefit the people of Morocco. For these reasons, I have voted against granting Parliament consent to the conclusion of the Protocol. I believe that it is the responsibility of the Commission to now submit clearer proposals on a fair implementation process that would be acceptable to all parties."@en1
