lpv:spoken text	"In 2012 there were 192 825 small to medium-sized businesses in Wales. To support these businesses, I have voted in favour of the programme for the competitiveness of enterprises and SMEs. This will facilitate access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises, create an environment favourable to business creation and growth, encourage a more entrepreneurial culture in Europe, increase the sustainable competitiveness of EU companies and help small businesses operate outside their home countries and improve their access to markets. I hope that this programme will have a real impact in Wales, as 59% of business owners in Wales who have applied for finance have encountered some form of difficulty, and 57% of SME owners in Wales currently hope to expand their markets abroad."@en1
