"I was happy to support the Ulmer report on ionising radiation, in particular the reference to radon gas. I live in an area which has significantly high levels of radon gas and the danger to health must be highlighted and remediated. Homes, schools and all buildings should be tested for radon levels where it is known that the risks are greatest. Practical advice as regards ventilation should be given to citizens, as well as financial assistance towards remediation of building."@en1
