I believe that this motion is an important part of the establishment of key instruments to provide more support to partner countries building deep and sustainable democracy and to support inclusive economic development. I am happy to see that the EU has strengthened political and financial assistance for its partners embarking on political reforms. I am in favour of this motion because the ENP provides the EU with a toolbox of instruments that allows each partner to adapt its policy approach and response, in a way that is tailored to their individual political context and relationship with the EU."@en1
