"I supported this report, in particular my concern in regard to human rights abuses ranging from human trafficking to slavery, from drug and arms trafficking to child soldiers and from institutional corruption to endemic discrimination against women. In this context, abduction and rape are used as weapons of war and while I do not support abortion, I abstained on that vote because it will be up to the legislation already in place in any country regarding access to abortion."@en1
