This remarkable teenager, with her weapons of books and pens, has put the Taliban to shame. The nomination was taken up by the political groups. Her argument that young girls have a right to education is one that deserves our support. I am grateful to the Conference of Presidents for pointing out that it will inspire not only Malala but the millions of children denied the right to schooling and the self-development it brings."@en1
