lpv:spoken text	"I fully support this motion for a resolution for an agreement on a mandate to open negotiations on an investment agreement with China. This will help deepen ties between the EU and China and further develop a strong partnership. Over EUR 1 billion is traded each day between China and the EU and I believe there is huge potential to develop bilateral investment ties that will enhance this further. In my own constituency of Wales, the importance of developing trade and investment links for the EU with China has been demonstrated through the Memorandum of Understanding between the Chongqing Municipal Government and the Welsh Government. This close cooperation demonstrates the increasing significance of developing the ambitious economic and social expansion of both Chongqing and Wales, and I look forward to further collaboration in the future."@en1
