lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, this topic I think is of absolute vital importance – the Digital Agenda for growth, mobility and employment – and the sooner we can complete the digital single market the better it will be for growth, mobility and above all employment, which is our biggest challenge right across the European Union. Certainly this is one area where a lot of progress can be made. I attended a hearing yesterday where Commissioner Kroes was outlining proposals particularly in regard to the telecommunications area and the hope of eliminating roaming charges within two years. I commend that and I think that is going to be of major value. Certainly the operators might not agree but, no doubt about it, citizens will agree and it will show them very clearly that the European Union can work for them. I think that this is very important and, again, the sooner it can happen the better."@en1
