lpv:spoken text	"I did not vote in favour of the report on online gambling today. While I welcome positive steps in respect of the single market, I am disappointed to see that attempts to ban online betting on ‘live sports’ have been adopted despite objections from my Liberal colleagues. I believe that rather than banning the option to bet online, which in my opinion is an overreaction and not justified by evidence, we should concentrate instead on the protection of consumers in the online environment, which is a fast-developing industry. Although this report does have some helpful suggestions to improve the protection and information given to consumers when gambling online, I will continue to urge my colleagues to re-think this blanket measure which will not achieve its intended goal."@en1
