lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted in favour of this dossier. In particular I like its aims in the area of reducing the papers drivers have to carry with them all the time. I agree with the rapporteur and the Commission that the establishment of electronic databases should be done without delay. I also feel that all these national databases should be connected to other Member States so as to make identification of the vehicle easier. We are now in a cross-border market and we need streamlining of vehicles and of their records, simply from the point of view of (1) efficiency and (2) road safety issues. Well done to the rapporteur; it is a good report."@en1
