The was the Turkish authorities have acted is completely unacceptable and has resulted in the deaths of several citizens and many others have been injured. The report calls on the Turkish authorities to offer compensation to the victims and to bring those who have who have been using excessive force and violence to justice. I visited Turkey last year to meet politicians to discuss the human rights situation, particularly in relation to the Kurdish people. I will continue to work with campaigners in Wales for the respect of human rights in Turkey."@en1
