lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I would like to support the position of the PPE Group. My group, the ECR Group, did not sign the joint motion. It was in my view a deeply regrettable joint motion which, at a moment of national grief following the bombing terrorist attacks in Boston against the marathon, accuses the United States of torture and degrading treatment. I think the wording of the motion was totally inappropriate. I am against the motion in principle, let alone at a time of national mourning when they have not actually tracked down the origins and who has actually done this atrocity against the American people and other nationalities who were there for the marathon. My group wants to put on record that the ECR Group supports the PPE Group very strongly on this issue at a very delicate moment for the American people."@en1
